Tips & Tricks

Showing A Stationary Object While Paging Through A Lesson
Often times it's nice to have the same Notebook object appear at all times while you're going through a lesson. For example, having a score board, a timer, or a random spinner that remains visible during an entire lesson can be very helpful. The most effective method of doing this is to open up another Notebook file and have both files showing at the same time.

On a Mac, you can do this simply by opening up another file.

However, on a PC, you'll need to open up Notebook a second time through your Start menu (or shortcut). Once you have two files open at once, you can use the window "Restore Down" button and adjust the size and position of each window so you can see both files. If you're using a PC with the latest version of Notebook (10.6), you can make one of your Notebook files "transparent" and have the object(s) float over the other Notebook lesson.
